What this is

898tele has been renting phone numbers since 2017. Every number in the catalogue is a line from a carrier in the country it belongs to — not a number generated in software — and you rent it by the month rather than buying a single code. That difference is the whole product: the number stays yours for as long as you keep renting, so the platform that asks you to verify again six months later gets an answer.

Why a carp

鲤鱼跃龙门 is an old Chinese saying: a carp that leaps the Dragon Gate becomes a dragon, and the saying means that perseverance pays off. That is the carp in our logo and on this site. It also describes how a rented number works: the first code gets you through the gate, and a number that stays yours keeps the account behind it reachable whenever a platform asks you to verify again.

What we sell, and what we do not

We sell the number. The account is yours to create, and it stays yours: for as long as you rent it the line is issued to nobody else, so nobody holds the SMS that could take it back. We do not sell ready-made accounts, and we do not guarantee what a platform decides about an account after it is registered — that is outside anyone's control but the platform's. What we are responsible for is a line that works and receives its messages, and the refund policy says exactly when we have failed at that.
