How the rental works

Four steps from ordering to entering the number on a platform. This page covers what actually happens at each one, and the limits worth knowing before you start.

One · Pick a country

Prices vary by country because carrier costs do. The price table sorts by monthly fee; check the number format for the country too, since some platforms display it back to you and an unfamiliar format is easy to mistype.

Two · Complete the rental

Ordering happens in the customer cabinet. The setup fee applies the first time you rent in that country; after that it is the monthly fee only. Once the line is assigned, the full international number appears on your account.

Three · Enter it on the platform

Use the international format including the country code, and do not add a leading zero after it. An Indonesian number is entered starting +62, never 062.

Four · Read the code

The SMS the platform sends appears in your order page. No SIM card, no handset, no other device.

Limits worth knowing

  • Most lines in the catalogue are SMS Only — they receive text messages and do not take voice calls. A few countries also offer a calls-and-SMS line, listed separately on that country's page.
  • Some countries — parts of the UK and US range among them — require identity documents under local rules. Those lines are marked Documents required in the catalogue.
  • One number, one account per platform. Several accounts means several numbers.
  • When a rental lapses the number is reclaimed. Turn on two-factor authentication, or move the account to another number, before you let it go.
