A platform does not ask for a code only at sign-up. Logging in from a new device, recovering a password, turning on two-factor, appealing a locked account — each one can send another SMS. If the number you registered with was a disposable, that message has nowhere to arrive and the account is gone with it. How the cost works
The setup fee is charged once, the first time you rent a number in that country. After that you pay the monthly fee only. The first month is setup plus monthly — that is what you actually pay on the first order. Prices sync from the billing system once a day; the per-country figures are in the price table.
Do you need documents
Most SMS numbers need none. A few countries, and numbers with full calling, require identity or company registration documents from the carrier; those take 1–2 business days to activate, rarely up to 5. Every country page states whether documents are required before you order.
Before you stop renewing
When you stop renewing, the number returns to the pool and may later be issued to somebody else. So before you stop, move the account to another number or switch two-factor to an authenticator app — only then is the account genuinely independent of the number.

Is there really a permanent virtual number?
No. The number belongs to a local carrier, and carriers bill in periods — so anything advertised as permanent is either a disposable or somebody else's rental. Ours is rented monthly: while you renew, it is not recalled and not given to anyone else, which is as close to permanent as a virtual number gets.
What happens if I stop renewing?
The number returns to the pool and may later go to somebody else. Accounts registered with it will not receive a code if the platform asks again. To keep the account, keep the number — or move the account to another one first.
How many platforms can one number register?
You can use the same number across several platforms; it is not spent by being used once. What we do not promise is that any particular platform will accept a virtual number — some refuse, so check before you order.
