Choosing a country
South-East Asian ranges are the cheapest; Europe and North America cost one to two times more, and most platforms treat both the same. If you are registering Telegram, Viber or WhatsApp, start with the first group.
Two things are worth checking before you order. The setup fee is charged once, the first time you rent a number in that country, and is listed separately from the monthly rate. Documents are required on some UK and US lines under local rules; those lines are marked on the country page.
Numbers are rented by the month and stay yours for the term.
