Why buyers reach for USDT

The network has to match
USDT is issued on several networks. Go by the network the top-up page shows: sent to an address on a different chain, the funds do not credit automatically, and recovering them is manual work with no guarantee. Checking the address and the chain once before you send is lighter than sorting it out afterwards.
Can I withdraw straight from an exchange
